Recession Buster Roadshow

FitnessNZ and Skills Active have partnered to deliver workshops around New Zealand to support and stimulate the fitness industry during the recession.

This roadshow is FREE to REPs registered individuals and is eligible for 5 CECs.

BusinessGrow, is designed to focus on the business elements of the exercise and fitness industry, this full day event (9am – 5pm) is for managers and owners of Fitness Centres. BusinessGrow includes a ½ day workshop (9am – 12:30pm) specifically for Personal Trainers, again focusing on the business elements of personal training.

GetNZ Active industry Conference

27-28 November 2009
  • Held at AUT campus, North Shore, Auckland
  • 20 CECs for 2 day event, additional CECs for pre-conference workshops.
GetNZ Active is an annual conference designed to enhance the knowledge of New Zealand's exercise and wellness professionals. Bookings for GetNZ Active '09 will be open early this year. As with 2007 and 2008, there are special discounts for the first 200 that book, plus a further 50% discount for those that are REPs registered, and managers of clubs that are members of FitnessNZ.
