I am a Southland based personal trainer and coach. I have a passionate 'can do' attitude to life, have featured on National press and TV and love to help others to achieve their goals and dreams. I have a friendly person centred approach to everything I do and my results prove that ANYTHING is in fact possible, with the correct advice and mind set. I can help you create the even better you. My aim is to empower you and teach you how to maintain your own healthy energetic lifestyle.
Background
Until 2005, I was very unfit,very overweight, and didn't do much exercise. I decided to transform my life, lost 4.5 stone and my story made national news in England. I did my first triathlon in 2007, managing to secure a spot on the GB team just 6 months later for the 2009 World Triathlon Championships in Australia. I represented Great Britain for five consecutive years until injury forced me to retire in 2013. I now cycle, swim and row for pleasure. I gained a silver and two golds in my first year as a rower. My passionate can do attitude led to people contacting me on the back of my weight loss story asking would I coach them too. I decided therefore to change career, and now am a full time personal trainer and coach. I enjoy helping other people to achieve their full potential, and exceeding things that even they thought were not possible. In 2020 I became a left leg below the knee amputee. I am now specializing in fitness for rehab and fitness for the disabled.
Facilities
I have my own personal training studio where I training clients on a 1:1 and small group basis. I employ a team of staff who are also available for fitness coaching and massage. Contact me to find out more.

I specialise in weight loss, weight management, specific injuries & joint rehab plus fitness for the disabled.I also cover personalised training programmes, triathlon, swim and cycle coaching and group fitness. My passion is making exercise accessible for all. I am also a SMEAEP (Stress management exercise association endorsed programme) accredited personal trainer.
