New Benefit for REPs Registered Professionals
Interested in the latest exercise industry research and science, but don’t have the time to read in depth research reports yourself?
As a REPs Registered Exercise Professional, we know that you always seek the latest evidence-based information on which to underpin your profession. Such information can give you confidence that what you do in practice has scientific support.
What are we doing?
It’s not always easy accessing and processing all the research information out there, so REPs have commissioned the team at AUT University’s Human Potential Centreto provide a series of summarised research review articles on a variety of exercise industry specific topics.
What are REPs Research Reviews?
The Research Reviews will provide Registered Exercise Professionals with summaries of peer-reviewed science, with an emphasis on practically useful information. The articles provide key-point summaries and also links for further information if you want to delve further into the topic.
There are also links included in the research reviews to take you to abstracts providing more information on the research. In many cases the full articles are not freely available, but where possible, the full version of the article will be linked to for you. There are also many excellent open access articles that will be linked to wherever possible.
Discussion opportunity
An interactive discussion thread will be started for comment and feedback with each article. This will be an opportunity for you to ask further questions, or add your own comments, with the AUT Human Potential Centre providing expert responses to the conversation.
